EFTA-RELATES 2025 Congress DIPHE University Lyon 2
«CONFLUENCES AND CONTROVERSIES IN SYSTEMIC THEORY, RESEARCH AND PRACTICE»
ETHICAL PRINCIPLES
1. Respect for others and self
- Universal respect: each participant must show respect for all people.
- Respect of image: it is understood that participants agree to respect the personal image of others, agreeing not to take photographs without permission. Participants agree to have their images captured by media duly authorized by the Congress organizers.
- Confidentiality: People mentioned in the professional presentations must be protected by anonymity. If mentioned they should give consent to the material being shared. This is especially important where the subject or their circumstances may be identifiable.
- Discretion: Participants must show restraint and courtesy towards exhibitors and contributors.
- Respectful debates: In these times with increased polarization we expect participants of the Congress to show that the contrary is possible; an attitude of curiosity, exploration, empathy, listening and friendly questioning.
2. Contribution to the common good
- Collective impact: Each contribution must aim to enrich the community, with particular attention to children, adolescents, vulnerable people or people requiring assistance or socio-educational, therapeutic or psychological support.
- Ecosystemic responsibility: Participants must be aware that they belong to an interconnected global system and act in a spirit of solidarity and preservation of the common good.
3. Promoting quality
- Truthfulness: Clinical accounts, publications and statements must reflect the reality of the facts and comply with truthfulness, scientific standards and intellectual honesty.
- Research: Presentations must demonstrate in-depth research, conceptualization, experimentation or clinical studies with a concern for methodological rigor.
- Sharing knowledge: Exchanges between professionals, schools and associations should contribute to mutual enrichment and the improvement of practices for the benefit of the community.
4. Respect for the environment
The organization of the congress is part of an eco-responsible approach, aiming to:
- Reduce energy consumption and waste;
- Promote sustainable practices in the logistics and activities of the congress;
- Raise participants' awareness of the importance of preserving the environment in their professional and personal lives.
This document, designed to guide the behavior of participants, contributes to making the EFTA-RELATES 2025 Congress an ethical, inclusive and respectful event in all its dimensions.
